Uniform Joins the MACH Alliance
San Francisco, December 14th 2020. Uniform.dev, a San Francisco based startup in digital experience platform (DXP), announced today it has joined the MACH Alliance, the group of independent tech companies dedicated to advocating for open, best-of-breed technology ecosystems, demonstrating Uniform’s commitment to the MACH model. Uniform enables the fastest personalized sites for the enterprise by Jamstack-enabling current platforms, creating scale and flexibility without the hassle of full re-platforming.
Uniform, founded by a team of digital experience platform (DXP) veterans, has been focused on building a platform helping the enterprise create the fastest personalized sites to help them engage their customers. Uniform both brings modern developer tools and edge-based personalization to existing technologies, such as Content Management Systems and DXPs, and brings marketing capabilities to a predominantly developer-centric, Jamstack ecosystem.
“We are excited to join the MACH alliance, a common thread among the members is that we all advocate for a better, simpler and more flexible approach for enterprise architectures and apps. Today most enterprises re-platform every 4-6 year, which are painful, expensive and quite frankly doesn’t help provide better value for their customers. By applying MACH technologies, it supports the enterprise in having a pluggable, scalable, replaceable stack, where each component can be replaced, without disrupting the different components in the stack. This allows the enterprise to focus on evolving their digital experience stack and focus on value realization, rather than expensive and disruptive re-platform projects.” says Lars Birkholm, Co-founder and CEO of Uniform.
"We are thrilled that Uniform is joining. While they are still a startup they are already a leading personalization and delivery vendor. Through their Jamstack approach, they add composability and flexibility to many enterprise experiences. Their approach exemplifies MACH”, says Kelly Goetsch, president of the MACH Alliance.
“Uniform makes the fastest personalized sites possible. Page performance matters, as it impacts search engine rankings and bounce rates, where faster loading sites get better search engine positions and lower bounces, this helps increase engagement, conversions and ultimately growth. Having a monolithic suite approach prevents the enterprise from acting fast on changes, this is where the MACH approach benefits the enterprise. With the impact of COVID-19, we saw those enterprises that could quickly adapt to the new normal, whether it was tuning commerce, changing supply-chain or being able to handle higher digital demands are those that create the most value for the customer. MACH helps the enterprise act faster and to be ready to adapt to new changes.” says Christian Pelle, Director of Growth at Uniform.
