The Customer Success Manager role is a hybrid role managing internal and customer projects and implementations but within the context of a Customer Success organization tasked with proactively creating value for our customers.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in learning to speak the language of many stakeholders at different levels —from senior execs, to solution architects, to marketing strategists, from agencies to tech partners— making projects, processes and desired outcomes transparent to everyone involved.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with some of the best Solution Architects, Engineers and Thought Leaders from the industry. You will need to have the interest to learn about the industry and what pains our customers experience when going through when dealing with legacy monoliths, going through digital transformation or adoption of new work processes and tools.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage many customers at once, making sure continuous progress is being made on many fronts at once and ensuring agreed goals are met
  • Adapt to a variety of styles as well as suggest process improvements both internally and on the customer side
  • Ensure everyone on the project team - customers, partners, colleagues - are working together towards well-defined and clearly communicated goals
  • Identify potential blockers that you can mitigate proactively before they happen, making sure the project team isn’t affected by them
  • Scheduling, facilitating and coordinating interactive sessions, training, workshops or events
  • Collaborate with internal Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to advocate for the customer.
  • Look for opportunities to upsell and cross sell additional Uniform products to the customer.

You’ll need:

  • 5+ years experience working in customer success, account management, project management, or in a related role
  • The ability to create structured and repeatable processes, you are not phased by complex projects that needs flexibility and a consultative approach
  • You are comfortable not knowing everything, you enjoy knowing the right person with the expertise, and take pride in the efficiency of getting an answer to a question
  • You have a bias towards action, and quickly move from ideation to validation to execution
  • You have a reputation with cross-functional teams as being innovative, accountable, and reliable
  • You connect with people easily and enjoy building strong, constructive and valuable connections with people over time
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

You’ll make an extra impression with:

  • Experience working within content management or digital experience companies
  • Familiarity with design thinking, content strategy, martech, personalization or related fields
  • Experience working in a startup environment
